Xubuntu is a Linux based Free and Open
Source operating system, It is an flavor of the popular Ubuntu operating
system. Xubuntu uses the light-weight Xfce desktop environment which is
a stable, light and configurable desktop environment and Xubuntu come
with some use full application like a web browser, word processor, mail
client, music & video player if you need more applications you can
install them from the package repositories via the Ubuntu Software
Center. Xubuntu has been announced Xubuntu 14.10 (Utopic Unicorn) Beta 2
and it's available for download for 32 & 64 Bit processor.
System Requirements To Install Xubuntu 14.10 Beta 2
*. 256 MB Of Ram Once Xubuntu installed, you should have at least 512 MB of Ram (To get a smooth experience you need at least 1 GB of Ram)and if you are using the Minimal CD you need 128 MB of Ram.
*. 6.1 GB of free hard disk space (to install new apps, saving your personal data it's recommended to have at least 20 GB of free space)and for Minimal CD requires you to have 2 GB of free hard disk space.
*. 64-bit processor (Xubuntu 64-bit requires a 64-bit processor)
*. 32-bit processor (Xubuntu 32-bit works on both 32-bit and 64-bit processors)
